I am sorry for your father and your family. I understand what happened. It is so difficult for everyone. Make sure that your Father in palliative medicine, which is usually a local service that patients can return home at the end of life. Hospice is also practiced in a hospital if the patient does not return home. It is strictly comfort care for the patient and the support and advice for families of patients. His father remains comfortable.

As for your question, cancer is a progressive disease and is not growing and growing every day. . Thus, while his father was there two weeks was the cancer grows and grows and grows until it starts, the nerves, tissue and organ compromise systems. Once tumors begin to do, continue to rise every day. . this is what we see with his father. . the disease progresses. As bodybuilders and healthy, probably allows a longer survival than most patients. . but generally not in good health, prevent disease progression in a poor state.

In the last stages of the disease can spread very quickly if it is under control. When my son from his chemotherapy to treat the disease spread so quickly, had a CT scan in December showed that cancer in the control and CT in late January, which showed significant morbidity, a few weeks later died. He also was athletic and healthy. Cancer sucks.

Well, it can cause the body to tolerate a little damage before things get really shows sometimes. Her father was not really "" Well, two weeks before the cancer had not only reached a point where she was upset with critical functions. Once that happens, things seem to move fast. Sorry to hear that your father has stage 4 cancer. The best I can recommend is to a hospice to help him and his family in the days to come to see. They are specialists in pain management and other doctors who everything possible to help his father as comfortable as is possible, and an employee that you and your family can help. I wish I could paint a pretty picture for you, but that's as good as I can offer. You can not change what is coming, but you can do everything possible to enable the persons concerned.

My heart is with you. My wife died 7 days after diagnosis and had no symptoms until the day I took her to doctors. It all happened so fast. All I can say is that there is no justice and attacks against the cancer of individuals of all ages.

Cancer can take many forms and how it can be very aggressive. When cancer cells enter the bloodstream, which is not good news if it is spilled into the brain and the body begins to close. Sorry to the bearer of bad news.

Normally, when it spread in the body in organs and things I can do nothing. He's probably still out. If you are in hospital, you can patch of morphine for pain. It helps some people.
